As an interdisciplinary artist working at the juncture of analog cinematography and poetic vignette, I play in and around the phantasm and façade of Las Vegas and the southwest. My creative practice invites viewers and readers into a dialogue examining ephemeral memory and the oneiric nature of existence.

Through photography, I capture vignettes that evoke a sense of longing for a time that feels simultaneously familiar and distant. I am drawn to the transient beauty in decay—crumbling façades, weathered objects, and spaces in disrepair—and my photographic technique I refer to as ‘drags’ becomes metaphor for the passage of time, forcing the viewer to occupy a manipulated space. Each image serves as a portal to the past, revealing stories embedded in the surfaces we often overlook.

In my writing I delve deeper into these themes, drawing upon the surreal imagery of the desert and fragmented memories, crafting obscure narratives where mirage hazes the lines of reality and illusion. These dreamlike stories reflect the emotional weight of memory, illustrating how our past shapes our present. The words echo the visual imagery, emphasizing the fragility of moments that leave only a residual, subconscious impression.
